Why stay in Coquelles?
From the hotels below you can reach the LeShuttle check-in lanes in a few minutes without driving through Calais. You are also next to Cité Europe, Carrefour and the Channel Outlet Store, so a last shop before the train is easy. The trade-off is that Coquelles is a retail and motorway zone. If you want restaurants and an evening stroll, central Calais is about 3 miles east.

Holiday Inn Calais Coquelles
Where: 2099 Avenue Charles de Gaulle, Coquelles.
Distance: 1.4 miles from the LeShuttle terminal and
about 3 miles from Calais-Fréthun station.
The most complete hotel in the area, with a restaurant, bar and grounds, and one of the highest guest scores in Coquelles (about 8.3 from more than 3,000 reviews). It is a good choice for families, longer stopovers and travellers with a dog who want some green space. It costs more than the B&B HOTEL buildings.

The Originals City, L’Haut’Aile
About half a mile from the terminal and close to the A16 junction, this independent hotel scores around 8.4 with guests, the best of the mainstream Coquelles hotels. It is a sensible middle ground between the budget chains and the Holiday Inn.
Sure Hotel by Best Western Calais Coquelles
About 1.3 miles from the terminal and around 2 miles from Calais centre. A dependable mid-price chain hotel with parking, often a little cheaper than the Holiday Inn.

Planning your LeShuttle morning
The crossing takes 35 minutes and LeShuttle asks you to check in between 45 minutes and 2 hours before departure. If you arrive early, you may be offered an earlier train when there is space.
