For some great views over the Channel head for the 19th century 51 metre high lighthouse located in the port of Calais. A spiral staircase (its only 271 steps!) leads to the top which will give you a superb vista over Calais, the Channel and on a clear day, the White Cliffs of Dover 26 miles away.
Open: Wednesday to Monday 10am-12pm and 2pm-5.30pm. Weekends 10.00am to 12.00noon and 2.00pm to 5.40pm.
Entry: 2.50 Euros. Kids 1.50 euro. Kids under 5 years enter free.
